Why today’s 99% off Frontier sale is better than usual

Frontier’s recent “% off” promos have been mostly worthless, with huge lists of excluded routes and confusing date exclusions.

Today’s sale? Not so bad.

Why not so bad?

Because the excluded routes list is small compared to all other recent promos, and because they list each individual date that is eligible for the promo.

Here is the relatively reasonable list of excluded routes:

Here’s an example fare of my favorite Frontier route, SF-Orlando, with the promo applied:

$59 for a round trip between SF and Orlando.

Here’s a link to the sale page with the full fine print and details.

  1. I love flying Frontier. We just got back from flying $120 pp/round trip from DTW-PDX with a small layover in DEN. That was purchased during their 50% off promo code back in early summer, and a 75% code that applied to that route came out only a few days later (oh well). I love them and have been trying to find a way to justify a $29 flight from DTW-DEN during this 99% off just for today, just because I love a bargain…!
