Uber is matching in-app tips again — Aug. 15

Uber is really trying to repair its relationship with drivers.

Continuing its “180 Days” campaign of improvements for drivers, Uber will match all in-app tips given on August 15.

Fine print:

Match limited to in-app tips added within 24 hours of trips started after 12:00am PT on Tues 8/15 and before 11:59pm PT on Tues 8/15. Does not apply to Commute.

Uber did this last month, so it must not have broken the bank.

The only difference this time is that UberEats delivery trips will be eligible for the tips match as well.
