Google is trying to compete with Amazon on the everyday shopping delivery front, and American Express is helping out with a new Amex offer.
Check your American Express account for this offer:
Google Express offers home delivery with free shipping from a variety of stores for $95/year, and offers a free 3-month trial to start out. Signing up for the service provides free shipping on most orders, but you aren’t required to sign up in order to use Google Express.

I added the Amex offer to both of my Amex cards (by opening a separate browser tab for each card, then adding the offer to each), and used one of them already after starting my free trial of Google Express.
Add the offer to the Amex card you want to pay with, and Amex will credit $15 to your account after your order of $30 or more. Here are the deets:
Here is what checkout looks like after opting into the Google Express free trial:

As I mentioned earlier, it’s getting easier and easier to do all of your shopping online, including for groceries, which can be great for earning more points and miles through shopping portals. This is another great option, though you can’t use a shopping portal with Google Express. I’ll probably end my membership before the free trial ends.
What are your thoughts? Is it worth trying Google Express for the Amex cash back? Let me know if it works out for you!
